Drs. Cyriel Souren studeerde geneeskunde aan de universiteit van Maastricht (2004-2010) en aansluitend tandheelkunde aan de universiteit van Freiburg in Duitsland (2010-2013). De opleiding tot Mond-, Kaak- en Aangezichtschirurg volgde hij in Maastricht (2014-2017). Na zijn specialistenopleiding werkte hij als MKA-chirurg in het Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven. In 2021 maakte hij de overstap naar het Zuyderland Medisch Centrum.
